Coles-Moultrie County 9-1-1 is always accepting resumes for employment.
Coles-Moultrie County 9-1-1 is a 9-1-1 Communications center for Coles and Moultrie Counties. All employees are telecommunicators for all calls emergency and non-emergency. Also, we dispatch over the radio for police, fire, and EMS agencies.
Starting hourly rate after training:
$12.88 hr. (0-1 year)
$13.14 (1-2 year)
$13.40 (2-3 year)
Minimum Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License
US citizenship
Must be at least 18 years of age
High School diploma/GED
No Felony convictions
Must reside within 30 miles of the Coles County limits

Mandatory orientation – this will answer all questions about the position.
Written examination – Three listening and memory retention tests.
